New Headquarter of HEINEKEN Myanmar Locates in Yangon

HEINEKEN Myanmar is proud to showcase its new Headquarters on the 15th floor of Junction City Office Tower, in the heart of the city’s business district. With a 270 degree view of the city, the cool and modern workplace is designed to encourage staff collaboration and engagement as well as promote HEINEKEN’s image as the world’s most international premium beer brand.

With big open spaces, industrial exposed ceilings and natural light, the contemporary office is one of the newest and most unique workspaces in Yangon. To reinforce the company’s values of openness, trust and transparency, the meeting rooms are all made from glass and managers share the same open-plan area with their colleagues. With a full-functioning bar where employees can chill after work on a Friday, the new HQ also includes a DJ booth, chill-out areas, a nursery room and a mega plasma screen for videos and events.

René Sánchez Valle, Managing Director of HEINEKEN Myanmar, said, “At HEINEKEN Myanmar, we are passionate about engaging and developing our people. Providing an attractive and productive workplace is an important part of building a winning culture. This office relocation demonstrates HEINEKEN’s commitment to investing and contributing to the growth of Myanmar and our people. And we hope it will be known as the coolest office in the city!”

The company has many different programmes as part of its HR initiative called ‘Go Places’ which aims to attract, develop and retain high-performers and top talents. Employees are literally encouraged to ‘Go Places’ within the company – whether by being offered a short-term assignment for 6 months in another country, joining the company on a graduate scheme, or moving jobs to a different department.

“As our company grows, HEINEKEN Myanmar is also focused on growing the careers of our people and attracting the best talent in Myanmar. As the world’s most international brewer, we can offer professional experiences which other companies simply cannot, such as tailored placements abroad. If you want a challenging, entrepreneurial and fun career, HEINEKEN Myanmar is the place for you!” said Yadira Sepúlveda Cavazos, Human Resources Director of HEINEKEN Myanmar.

As part of ‘Go Places’ the company is encouraging applications to the Asia Pacific Graduate Program (APGP). The 2-year progamme, which includes two international placements, is crafted to inspire young local talents to be future leaders by providing varied experiences, challenges and exposures that can accelerate their growth and career. Applicants can apply to the relevant program in October 2019 to be considered for July 2020. Applicants can apply on https://careers.theheinekencompany.com/APGP/ and all job opportunities are advertised on the company’s Facebook page: Heineken Myanmar.
