Telenor Group has appointed Sharad Mehrotra as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Telenor Myanmar, effective from August 1. He replaces Lars Erik Tellmann who will take up a new role in Telenor Group as Head of Portfolio Management and Business Development within the Emerging Asia Cluster.
Sharad Mehrotra most recently served as CEO of Telenor India. He joined Telenor in 2008 and has served in several leadership positions, including as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Telenor Myanmar from 2013-2015.
